What has God been speaking to you this week?

I'm really curious to hear, friends. Let me know and I will gladly share with you what he's been speaking to me :)

Love you all!

What God has been teaching me this week:
1. My life is really not about me, but about serving others around me.
2. God cares more about WHO I am than WHAT I am doing. (sometimes this is nice to hear but hard to accept!)
3. He doesn't always make sense to me, but everything He stands for and does is GOOD.

I know I am a litle late on replying but better late than never right??? The last few weeks God has really been showing me his faithfulness. Yeah, God is faithful. We hear it in worship songs, and all the time in church but do we really know the meaning and depth of God's faithfulness??? God has been showing me in the last few months how faithful he is when we listen to Him. When we show interest in wanting to know Him and strive after him he is faithful in ways I couldn't even imagine. But this week he has been really showing me that he cares about me, and what I am spending me time doing, he is a selfish God, but selfish not for his own reasons, selfish because he knows whats best for us. Its so hard to understand. But He is jealous for me.. wow.

I can totally identify with everything you are both saying. God has been showing me AGAIN how flexible I have to be in following him. How I can't hang on to stuff. I have to give everything up and not expect to get comfortable. To move with him. He moves and I follow, he pulls me and I stretch, and then I get pretty proud of myself and start getting too comfortable... and he prods and pulls me again. It's not my nature. But it sure is his. And it's pulling me further from the old me and into new life and confidence in him.

our plans are not always God's plans...
no matter how good our intentions are.
